The owners of the apartment are an
Anglo/French couple and have made their living from viticulture since 1987. The property in which the Gite is situated dates from at least
the 17th century, and has vaulted ceilings. We are located at the junction of the A9
(motorway to Spain, 10 minutes to an entrance) and the A7 (motorway
to Italy, 20 minutes to an entrance). The Rhone valley, an area rich in culture and
traditions, attracts millions of visitors each year. Our village is at
the centre of a triangle: Avignon, Nimes, Orange.
Gite
The gite is situated on the ground floor
of the owners’ house in the centre of a medieval village. For people
who enjoy close contact with French culture the situation is difficult to
match. It sleeps four and the price ranges from €300-€500 per week. The prices are for two people renting, if there are four people
add €80. If three, add €40. We would accept payment in Sterling contact us for a quote.
Cleaning
We expect the property to be left in a similar state as when found on arrival. If you don’t want to clean it yourself before leaving, please inform us before hand. There would be an extra charge of €40 per week for this service. If the property is not left in a similar condition as it was on arrival there would be the same charge as above against the damage deposit
Main Room: Stone fire
place with an insert fire (glass door) fuel is included in the price. The
stone comes from a quarry close to the Pont du Gard (same stone). A
large oak table four chairs. Two armchairs and a settee. A radio. There are
books on wine and novels. The ceiling is vaulted. Satellite television: BBC
and ITV, There is the option of French television if you would prefer that.
Kitchenette: Sink fridge,
dishwasher, combine oven microwave, two electric hobs, coffee machine,
kettle and toaster. There is a cooker hood and the kitchen is connected to
the main house's ventilation system.
Sleeping Area: adjacent to the main room
contains two single beds which can be pushed together to form a double bed,
when the sleeping area is not in use it can be closed by means of oak
doors.
Separate Toilet: connected to the main
house's ventilation system.
Shower Room: hand basin, shower with
cubicle, washing machine, connected to the main house's ventilation system.
Bedroom: a double bed.
Porch: wooden bench (teak). This is an
entrance porch where you sit in the shade, important because of our summer
heat.
General: full central heating, double
glazing, water softener.
Parking: there is off street parking
(visible from the gite) which is locked at night. You are supplied with a
key. There is a table with four chairs and two sun-loungers.
We are near to the
following airports: Avignon, Nimes Montpellier and
Marseille.

dates and click check prices. You click on the arrival date and departure
date that you are interested in then continue. You will then see a quote of
the cost of your stay. If you are still interested click continue. You will

From July till the end of September we rent our gite Saturday to Saturday, but we will rent mid-week till mid-week over this period for a higher rate ask us for a quote if you are interested in this.
The prices below are if our gite is rented by two people; there is a charge of €40 per person for
each additional person, maximum two. Our gite sleeps four.

Payment and Deposit
We would expect a deposit
of 25% on booking.
The balance plus a
breakage deposit of €200 to be paid 56 days before your booked date.
The breakage deposit will
be returned 14 days after your booking date is finished, less any money
retained for damage.
We expect the gite to be
in a reasonably clean state when you leave, if not they may be a cleaning
charge of €40.

10% discount if booking
length is greater than 3 weeks.
12% discount if booking
